- SaaS products bring their greatest value when they can incorporate business processes into their feature set
- Products that focus more on the user rather than the organization are more readily accepted by users
- SaaS products need to be compelling and make a good first impression within the first 3 minutes
- Cost is important. Scalable products at low cost will gain market share.
- SaaS Tier 1 support becomes more important as company IT staff of experts shrink
- SaaS vendors will provide greater value to users by integrating with other SaaS products
- SaaS vendors will rely more and more on video training rather than text based tools
- SaaS vendors will begin to outsource more of their own operations for greater leverage
- SaaS vendors should tool their products to be either grid-compatible or cloud-compatible
- Technology has figured out a number of hurdles, but it is taking the back seat to marketing
