NASA has recently contributed their Object-Oriented Data Technology (OODT) to the Apache group, and the technology has been promoted to a Top-Level Project (TLP) at Apache. As a TLP, OODT will receive project management and resource support from the the Apache foundation. Development for OODT can be traced back to 1998 at NASA’s Jet Propulsion [...]

Lucene and Lucene Solr are well-known Open Source developer tools that are widely embedded in many products. Both tools are created by the company Lucid Imagaingation.
