Using Orion, users can easily share information across their organization based on specific business requirements and information processing rules. Formtek develops, maintains, and services Orion across several platforms in several languages. Orion is actively used by thousands of users across Asia, North America, and Europe, largely within industrial market segments.

Separately, and commencing in 2007, Formtek became an Alfresco partner in order to provide the industrial market segment with a non-proprietary option for Enterprise Content Management product and solution capability. Alfresco is the market leader in open source content management technology offering both a Community version and a fully certified and supported Enterprise release of the Alfresco Enterprise Content Management software. Leveraging our 20-year engineering service heritage and successful implementation record, Formtek's Professional Services team is trained and qualified to provide technical services for the Alfresco Enterprise Network.

From 1989 until 2002, Formtek was a business unit operating within the Lockheed Martin Corporation. While part of the Lockheed Martin Corporation, our employees gained invaluable experience working with commercial customers and government agencies, and learned world-class program management methodologies we leverage today across our business. Prior to 1989, Formtek was an independent software vendor focused on developing document imaging products. Thousands of worldwide customers electronically viewed and revised their raster-based engineering drawings using our flagship software product, FORMTEK:SKETCH^TM.
